Ms. Ordower gained her insurance experience by being in the industry all her working life.
Although she handles every type of insurance, she has gained a well-known expertise insuring condominium and cooperative buildings.
Her clientele includes a wide range of commercial and individual accounts.
She received a national award as "Woman Business Owner of the Year", was President of the Chicago area chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners and served on the national board of this organization overseeing 70 chapters nationwide. Ms. Ordower was an elected delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business in 1986 and was the senatorial appointee to the conference in 1995, served three years on the Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank and named as one of the "100 Most Influential Women in Chicago."
In addition, Ms. Ordower was the winner of a Small Business Administration's regional award as the "Women in business Advocate of the Year," member of the Board of Directors of the Chicagoland chamber of commerce, host of a cable television program regarding people in the business world, named as one of the "100 Women Making a Difference" and listed in "Who's Who of America," "Who's Who of American Women" and "Who's Who in the World."
